    I conceptualized, photographed, and designed a 6 page photo essay for The Iron Lattice part of their issue titled “Living Economy.” The piece follows 4 New Orleanians who work in the New Orleans service industry documenting their body language at rest and at work.

    I curated the photography of André Courville, a local New Orleanian, to accompany this piece written by Joseph Toman for The Iron Lattice. The piece explores the urban off-grid inhabitants of an abandoned Naval Base in downtown New Orleans. Pulling imagery from various abandoned industrial sites across the city, I laid out the piece to reveal the echoing stillness of these spaces.

    For The Iron Lattice’s issue on sexuality, I curated photographs of sex workers in Hamburg, Germany by Antonia Zennaro to accompany a roundtable discussion by sex workers. I crafted the layout for this piece as well.

    I curated and arranged a photo essay on Afro-Cuban culture for The Iron Lattice’s issue on the Caribbean. Using the photography of Antonia Zennaro, I laid out the images and designed the typography for the title of the piece.

    Using the photography of Tammy Mercure, I curated and arranged a photo essay for The Iron Lattice’s issue titled “Land & Loss.” The piece was designed to add nuance to conversation around environmentalism exploring Louisiana’s relationship to reptiles in urban and semi-urban environments. I also designed the typography for the title of the piece.

    Accompanying an interview with Louisiana photographer Michel Varisco, I curated and designed a showcase of her work for The Iron Lattice’s issue titled “Land & Loss.” Varisco photographs water from around the world. My challenge was to curate and present the vast diversity of colors and textures present in her work.

    I photographed former US congressional candidate, New Orleans activist, and Black Panther, Malik Rahim to accompany an interview with him in The Iron Lattice’s issue on housing. The photographs were taken at his home in Algiers Point, Louisiana.

    I worked with New Orleans photographer Frank Relle to conceptualize and design a photo essay on blighted properties of New Orleans for The Iron Lattice’s issue on housing.
